Our mission is to raise awareness for the global HIV/AIDS crisis and give people tangible ways to take action.

What is One Day For AIDS?

One Day For AIDS is a grassroots marketing campaign challenging people to give to an organization of their choice that provides HIV/AIDS relief either locally or abroad. 100% of your donation goes directly to the organization of your choice.

Sadly, HIV/AIDS is a daily reality for the thirty three million people around the world infected with HIV/AIDS and their families, caregivers, and educators. Every day, an estimated 5,800 people die of AIDS, and another 6,800 become newly infected. (UNAIDS, 2007)

In addition to asking people to make a donation of ONE DAY (suggested minimum $30) on World AIDS Day (December 1) each year to one of the three recipient organizations featured on this website, we organize a number of other special fundraising and awareness events (e.g. film nights, sport tournaments) throughout the year. Would you consider giving "one day" if you knew that you could make a real difference in the life of someone living with HIV/AIDS?
